This is the only actual combat photo I was able to take during Operation Desert Storm. We had just a moment break so I took the shot. This mission was an emergency mission to attack a group of Iraqi tanks less than two miles away. The ammunition is eight inches in diameter and weights 200 pounds each. The vehicle is a 203mm self propelled howitzer and weights 32 tons.
